Sapiens Travel is a tour operator proudly founded in Amsterdam in 2018. We create tailor-made itineraries for individual and small size groups to travel in the Netherlands, Belgium and beyond.
Our pillars are Culture, Flavours and Lifestyle, and based on them we use our interested and experienced eyes to identify itineraries with meaning and a lot of personality.
As good hunter-gatherers of experiences, we love to tell stories that connect the historical context of the destinations with each client's moment in life, creating relevant and special memories. We personally know each destination, experience and hotels we offer, to provide the most updated insights of the places journeys full of content and emotion.
WHAT IS AN EXPERIENCE HUNTER-GATHERER?
20,000 years ago, humans were hunter-gatherers out of necessity. This was the first subsistence mode of Homo sapiens, preceding animal husbandry and agriculture.
As a reflection of our contact with the world, we learned, gathered knowledge, and transformed our behavior, creating roots that turned into villages that turned into nations.
Even so, some of us continued to grow a nomad spirit. The hunter-gatherer instinct is part of our humanity and is the basis of everything we do at Sapiens Travel.
